The comic will probably not be up for a while. Keenspace, as you must have noticed by now, is having troubles. The manual update, which I use all the time, is not working, so I'm afraid that at 7am EST the page will update and I'm definitely not going to be done by then. Um, well, for you to see this post, it would have to be after 7am EST since the auto update will catch this. Uh, carry on.
Anyhoo, this has been a much better week. I enjoyed myself, slept much, and got drunk with a bunch of freshmen. And screamed at a bunch of freshmen too, but that's not important. I bought
Phantasy Star Online: Episodes 1 and 2 even though I shouldn't have. Ah well. I like it, and I know that I'll play mucho amounts of it since I like making new characters and maxing out skills on characters. Unfortunately, I can't get the broadband adapter yet. ^_^;; That's a purchase for later, I guess. Maybe if I sell enough T-shirts.
Speaking of T-shirts, if you haven't been on the forums this week, I made a new design! Introducing the
Sexy Valentine Yuuki Design!! Yes, you need this new line of merchandise, even if it's an apron. Hey, there's even a teddy bear. Go get some!
I finally came up with the school uniform for Mystery Girl's (I hate calling her that, but I don't want to reveal her name yet. Plus, I'm not sure of her last name yet ^_^;;) school. I'm quite pleased. Oh wait... I have to decide colors... Dammit! There's always something else!
And to the one who makes me happy, you are everything to me. ^_^

I would like to start by saying I hate
Comcast. I hate them so much. There was going to be an update with a
comic yesterday, but my wonderful ISP, who did not warn anyone they were going to do an update to fix the problem that actually caused their update to go wrong, is down. Oh, there's still cable TV, but I don't have cable TV. I just get the fscking broadband from them, so I don't even have cable TV to entertain me while I wait for them to fix my goddamn connection. GAAAH!! So here I am at the place Crutcher lives updating. I shouldn't have to do this...
In happier news, I am addicted to
Phantasy Star Online for GameCube. It's sweeeeeeeeeet... But can I bring myself to spend a $100 (this pays for PSO, a broadband adapter, and 251 memory card (because I have no space left)) to play this wonderful game? The more I am away from it, the more I say, "YES." (Imagine me saying this the same way a hamster would say "yes" to a salt wheel.) I need this wonderful game. But alas, I don't have the money to get it. I have to go get my stupid car, Mokonamobile, looked at because it's acting funny again. I swear these things happen when I want something big.
One more episode, and this puppy of an Edda is done. I've got the layout finished, so I'm going to start working on the comic. Hell, I might do something else comic related, yet not SGVY.
I'm going to eat some pizza now. Y'all have fun.
A steel-eyed dinosaur...

Yes, I'm lazy. Or something like that.
I started work on the comic on Sunday night and then proceeded to, well, put it off. Then I was going to work on it on Tuesday night, but then the dreaded stress migrane hit, and I was down for the count. And why did a stress migrane hit me? Because my house was extremely dirty.
I don't claim to be Miss All-American Housemaker, but time to time, the clutter gets to me. And when you step into your bedroom and can't move an inch without moving something out of the way, only to have something else to move out of the way to continue on your path to the bathroom, I think you have a problem. This caused me to go into a cleaning rampage on Tuesday, which was stopped by Cinnabat's arrival, which caused the cleaning rampage to fester in my head. It festered for eight hours seeing as I had to go to work after Cinnabat came over. The migrane was excrutiating and I kept thinking that Caesar's horse was out to eat my head. Spend a day in my head, kids, and you'll see why I seem crazy.
So, I took Wednesday to be my mental health day. Unlike most people when they take mental health days, which entails sitting around the house and eating ice cream as they watch a movie or two, my mental health days are cleaning days (which solves the cause of my migrane!). I scrubbed the house, braved the cold to wash my clothes, and threw away the Christmas cookies and cake that had ended up on top of my microwave. And after that, sat my ass in front of the computer and watched two episodes off the new
Cardcaptor Sakura DVD with "Pillow," my new stuffed animal. This is Pillow:
Harry Lime bought him for me because he is cute and red. Plus, he is soft and very pillow-like, hence the name Pillow.
Anyway, after that I was treated to a blackout while I was in the bath, and had to shave in the dark. (A lot harder than one thinks.) The power did come on after a while, but afterwards, I learned that the Yuuki page had been acting funny because of the blackout. It was fixed after the power came back on. We went and ate after that. I had lentil soup! The best of all soups!
I was going to see
Bowling for Columbine, the new documentary by Michael Moore. (I like Michael Moore, mostly for
TV Nation and the skit "The Last Ride of Communism." That was gold!) On the way to the movie theater where it was showing, which was an hour away, I noticed that Mokonamobile was sounding funny. A bit too loud to be Mokona. Well, I was right. The car began to fishbite, and as I pulled off the interstate, the car locked up. The steering wheel locked and I lost power. The goddamn car was out of oil. Now, if you must know, my car is a 1996 Dodge Stratus, and if you'll notice, there aren't a lot of them out there. There's a reason. The car sucks. There is a defect in the '96 Stratus: a bad oil gasket. It leaks oil like a mofo. Apparently in the week I didn't check it, it had lost all of its oil. Stupid car. We had to ease it on to the gas station where we gave it some oil, and proceeded to drive home. It worked. Then we almost got lost as we decided to take the back way home as we were now away from the interstate. My amazing sense of direction was taking us the right way, but Harry Lime and Cinnabat, who were also along on this failed jaunt, insisted that we pull over and find out where we were. Using Harry's T-Mobile Sidekick, they found out we were going the right way. Moral of the story: Don't question Kittyhawk's sense of direction. If you know your city is south, then by damn, go south.
Well, we ended up on the other side of The Fscking Town That I Live In, where the crappy mall is but the better theater is in.
Adaptation was playing. So rather than go home and call it a complete failure of a trip, we went to see
Adaptation. Let me say this, I love Charlie Kaufman. That man is awesome. Go see the movie. It's weird and leaves you kind of stunned at the end.
So ends my day of mental health. I woke up this morning very late after dreaming about being a godlike being in this theme park world (remnants of Disney?). That dream lasted forever, but it was so cool. I got to see the whole thing. I hate it when you don't see the whole dream. Then I woke up and started to write this rant which has taken me a long time to write. *looks at all she's written* God, I have written a lot. Oh, and that new MicroPet thing I got for Christmas keeps beeping:
Well, I guess I should go do something so today's not a total waste. Hey! Maybe I'll work on Yuuki today and actually post!
...
Um, I'll get something done...
Twenty bucks on who gets a job first.

I finally got off my lazy ass and decided to download the pics from the Orlando trip to my computer. They turned out so nicely. Here's
me being choked by Doctor Doom at Universal's Islands of Adventure. Such a nice man. He made sure that I didn't die and was just eased into unconsciousness and then trampled by little children too oblivious to notice me under their feet because of all the sugary sweets they were eating because their parents are pussies and give them everything they want, the bastards. Anyway, that one was my favorite. My second favorite was
this one of me in front of the Walt Disney statue. I think it's the sunglasses. I have some good ones of Harry Lime, but he said he "was good" when it came to picture putting up, so I assumed that meant no. Bah.
Oh, it's Sunday isn't it. Um, I just woke up. I need to work on Yuuki. Dammit. I'll eat dinner and then worry about it. See you in a bit.
Yes, I would like the apple pie.

The comic is back, and I must say, looking sharp. Took me long enough, don't you think? Well, work is a bitch, so let's forget about it. On with the rant!
I just saw the new
Game Boy Advance SP. This little wonder solves the whole backlighting problem that I had, and most of you must have, with my current GBA (which is pink, because it's ridiculus). Plus, it's not as bulky as the current model. Nice and sleek
with an adjustable screen. But I'm completely pleased with the news. This is what the GBA should have had in the first place: frontlighting screen and rechargable lithium-ion batteries. The folding into a square is a nice touch. However, the third problem I had a with my GBA was the lack of X and Y buttons, which the
GBA SP lacks. How the hell am I supposed to play fighting games?! Ah well, the GBA is the portable RPG machine I've always wanted, especially with
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance and
Seiken Densetsu 1 coming out. I guess I'll be trading in old Pinky for
a cobalt GBA SP soon...
Holy John Crapper, Batman!
Megatokyo has linked to us! Thank you, thank you, Megatokyo crew! And thank you to all you Megatokyoites visiting my weird little comic. Make yourselves at home, but please refrain from setting the couch on fire. I rather like it.
Oh, while I'm here, the
Cast page has been updated. I'm working on this whole "updating the site" thing.
But I have to have all the consoles!

I'm back and already working-working once again. I'll start working on Yuuki tomorrow. Y'all had a good holiday? I did. ^_^ Tell y'all about it later.
Damn that scratch!!
