Sorry there was no update last week. At least the update was on time for once this week, ne? I'm feeling really sick right now, so I'm heading to bed for three hours of sleep before I must go to work.

Happy news is that I have a Game Boy Advance SP. Yay! Phantasy Star Collection, you are mine!

I'll talk later. Probably tonight.

Well, been a while, ne? Nnn... It's been a fine week in Kittyhawk-Land, it has. First, Takepon II (my computer) decides it can't connect to the Internet anymore, so Harry Lime (my boyfriend) had to fix it. Meanwhile, I couldn't work on SGVY because he's trying to fix it. One day shot. Monday was a day of many things happening and me learning that my spine is curved somewhere in the middle and that I "should really get this fixed by a chiropractor." Mm-hm. Yeah. I'll get right on that. Right after I learn how to eat proper foods rather than "Easy Mac." (Mmmm... "Easy Mac"...) Another day shot as I pass out as soon as I get home.

Then Tuesday, "Zelda Day," comes about, and I don't get to play Zelda. Stupid migraines. I was laid out for the whole day. Work was just a blur of color and LOUD sounds from the game machines. I think I threw up the whole day. Day, shot.

Wednesday, which is technically yesterday but I'll still call "today," was wasted with work and hurty lungs. Still haven't played Zelda, despite the fact it's in my house, next to my GameCube, ready to be played. Muu... I'm playing that damn game tomorrow! No interruptions! Oh, wait, SGVY... Nnn... I'll wait then...

Yes, day is shot.

BUT! Shall I bitch some more? No! Nay! Nyet! I am invincible! I shall work hard for my non-existent corporation! I shall spend the weekend working on SGVY! I will finish this week's! I will work on the Jar archives! I will eat a nectarine! I will...!

I will go to sleep. I'm tired. I'm eating a strawberry.

Oh, before I go! Thank you to all who wrote me about soy milk. No, I am not lactose intolerant. Milk causes me to have massive amounts of mucus build up in my respiratory tract. This is probably why I have a hurting lung today. Many of you recommended rice milk as a substitute rather than soy milk. Uh, I bought some today, and I'll have to say I prefer soy milk. Thicker and grainier, the soy milk wins. I'm going to drink the rest of the rice milk, though. Unless... Hey, Tom_Swan (my brother), do you want it?

But thank you to all of you who care about me. I really appreciate it. ^_^

Well, night, y'all. Dreams of Yuuki for all.

GOJIRAAAAA!!

It's a fine Wednesday afternoon, and I have no work. So, I slept in and then leisurely ate donuts (yummy, powdered donuts) and drank coffee.

Which brings me to today's gripe: soy milk. Goddamn soy milk. Recently, I've figured out I have a slight allergy to milk. I had one when I was younger, but I thought I was over it. So, I've decided to cut back on the dairy in my diet so that I at least will not be hacking a lung everyday. This is a problem, though. I like coffee. Coffee requires milk or something to water it down that is not water. Since I can't drink milk, you'd think I'd use non-dairy creamer, right? Wrong. Can't stand the stuff. So I do the new-agey thing and buy me some soy milk. So why am I griping, you ask?

Well, it's not the taste. I like the taste. I love disgusting things, like really bitter cough syrup and raw oats. Is it because I think I'll look like a hippie? Nope. I may not like hippies because I find them hypocritical, but I don't fear looking like one because I don't think anyone would ever think I'm a hippie. Technology all the way! So why do I hate the soy milk?

It separates in the coffee every two minutes. That's right. Separates. Coffee and soy milk hate each other, so I am constantly acting like the mediator and forcing them to agree for two minutes more so I can drink the sweet coffee. At least the sugar likes both of them. ^_^;;

Today's thing I think will be working on the Jar archives. That's right, folks! I'm finally getting to them. I found all my old Jar sketches, and I'm pretty happy. This is going to be a lot of work, but I'll keep y'all posted.

Whee!! I got a pink, beaded Christmas tree!

God bless Datel.

So, it's another wonderful update of SGVY. I'm not really sure about this week's update. I'm not all that pleased with the way I handled this part of the story. Oh well, the following weeks' installments will make up for it. I'm getting better with the backgrounds. Granted they are just hallways, but it's a start. I'm digging the whole cel-shaded look I've got going on.

I'm sure I have more to say, but my brain is currently fried. I need to wake up early tomorrow so I can get some stuff done before work. SGVY stuff, to be exact. I'm really trying to work on this comic a lot more. I like this comic after all!

Nnn... I hear the bed calling. I'm calling it a night.

Well (I just realized that I start about 75% of my rants with "well." This is scary), here it is, Friday. I've had a better week than I have had in a LONG time. I don't know why. This scares me. Perhaps I am finally realizing that all my worrying is for nothing?! I mean, even though my car is on it's last legs, I don't care! Every damned little thing that usually bugs me is strangely not bugging me right now. It's creepy. All it took is for me to relax one night and then wake up, and poof! No more worrying. Though this is new, I can deal with this.

Thank you to all who have sent me words of praise lately. I'm sorry I haven't written you back. I'm being bad about my email. I really appreciate your support, and it makes me want to work harder on SGVY. Thank you!

I think I have work today. Umm... I should probably find out.

Messy desk.

The comic is up for this week. Late again. Maybe I should move the update to Wednesday. Nah, I'd still miss it. Must work on getting comic out on time.

I'm sure I had something interesting to say, but I can't remember. I've been scrubbing my apartment today (it is FILTHY!!), and I think the chemicals have gone to my head. *hears mailman outside of door* Ah, mail. I'll probably get some bills. I wish something interesting would come in the mail, like a magazine or a Nintendo GameCube Keyboard Controller by Ascii. Since I haven't paid for either of these things, feh, I guess I'm not going to get them. Nnnn...

Oh! A big, big thank you to Steven Thesken for donating to me! And thank you to all of you who have bought T-shirts lately! (Kita, thanks for buying the aprons. ^_^) Y'all rule!

I'm going back to scrubbing my apartment...

Well, five days later, and the comic is out. Better late than never, ne? The server updates went longer than expected when the motherboard died. Harry Lime spent three days hunting one down, and he finally found one today. Yay! SGVY updates!

This week's SGVY features Yuuki explaining why he likes anime. Well, I wanted to go more into depth because I think Yuuki and I share the same views on why anime rocks your world. However, that would take twenty pages, and I don't feel like doing a twenty-four page update, thank you. I'll rant about that later. I just don't feel like doing it right now because...

I GOT THE GAMECUBE BROADBAND ADAPTER!!

Now I can play Phantasy Star Online, online! Wheehoo! I'm hooking up tonight! I think my name will be Kittyhawk, and I'll dressed in pure white with dark skin and be very small. Very unlike me, but cute nonetheless! I'll be playing with Tom_Swan tonight hopefully.

Well, let's update this popcicle stand and let me play some PSO.

Trogdor! The Burninator!

Uh, I did it again. I passed out. I do this every Sunday. I have a good excuse though. I took an antihistamine. They put me to sleep. Yeah.

I'll work on the comic today. Thank God I've got the day off.

Oh, and Happy Girls' Day!

Today's post brought to you by canuba wax, because the word "canuba wax" is funny.

Well, I did a very strange thing today. I woke up at 7:30am. This is strange because I usually wait till 1pm to wake up. The sun bothers me. It mocks me with its promises of warmth and life-givingness. Feh. All it's ever done to me was make everything bright and hard to see. Nah, I take it back. I like the sun. Just behind some clouds, like today!

I don't know. I just feel like posting today. Maybe it's the fact that a lot of my friends have gotten Live Journals lately. I was offered one, but I declined saying that I didn't need one. I said that posting to Montrose was enough. I guess it is. I mean, most people say that they get news on me from this site. Not that anyone who doesn't know me personally could decipher my ramblings. But, a few of you have, so I guess it does serve the same purpose of a Live Journal: letting people know what's in my head and what I'm doing. There are a few people out there I would prefer would not know what I'm doing, but I guess it can't be helped. That's what selective posting is for. ^_^

Maybe I should post more. I mean, I seem to notice that more people email me when I post. (Whether or not I actually check my email. ^_^;;) I like email. I like feedback. I like cheese, but that's beside the point. It allows you to know what's going on with me, allowing you to know why the comic is how it is or why my art style is how it is. That's a good thing I think. After all, I like doing reading rants or journals so why shouldn't you?

Hm, I should buy a swimsuit today. I think it's about that time. Or maybe I should buy a shirt. Gah, what am I rambling about? I don't have that money! I should save for the future! I should be more responsible! I should...!

*checks checking account*

I should just ignore my thoughts and do what my pancreas tells me.

Pancreas says, "Buy a swimsuit!"

Righty-O! I buy a swimsuit. So, I guess I'm off. Wish me luck and much fabric.

Forget the brush, the comb, and the importance.
