Forgive me for my sins. I have been busy. I will repent next week. I swear. Sort of. Kind of. Okay, maybe.

Linkage, linkage! Apparently I was linked to by a college newspaper last week. The only word that comes to mind is "awesome." Then again, "awesome" comes up a lot, maybe because Harry Lime says it a lot. I prefer "monkey," but I don't think it's appropriate for this situation. Thank you, Oregon Daily Emerald!

The other linkage comes from Van Von Hunter. Apparently my comic's good enough to make their "Bleah!" section. Thank you so much! It's an honor.

I'm trying to think of other sweetness that has happened this week, but the only thing that comes to mind is Chobits Vol. 6. Read the whole thing in 30 minutes, with interruptions. These things should be longer. Speaking of CLAMP, I'm not sure what to think of Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE. The art is nice, as with all CLAMP series, but I'm not sure about this whole reuse of charas. Is it cool? Is it lazy? I'm not sure. I'll read regardless. I really want to read XXXholic now because of this crossover with the series.

Getting my car this weekend. Should be fun. I need to see it first before I name it. I have no idea what I'll call it.

Orange thread.

Woohoo! Sequel to Cardcaptor Sakura! It's called TSUBASA: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE.From what I can tell, Shaolan is the main chara. Weird, but I so want to see this series. It's also strange this is being published in a boy's magazine. That explains why Shaolan's the main chara, but you'd think a sequel would be in "Nakayoshi."

I'm very tired. I think I'll sleep.

Didn't see the end.

Well! Today was filled with annoyance and goodness. Annoyance from trying to find a ride home; goodness came in the form of a child holding a sword.

Yes, a child holding a sword. This kid in the store today was in a stroller and holding a toy katana. I smiled and then made a fierce face at him. He stared me in the eye and then pulled his sword from the sheath. I made a mock cry of surprise. He then proceeded to point the sword at me and scowl at me. So cute!! I learned from his grandmother that his grandfather has a collection of Japanese swords, which the kid points to all the time and says, "My sword, my sword." I asked him if he was going to be a samurai, and he replied, "Yes ma'am." Then I told him to kill some ninja for me, and he pulled out his katana again and said, "Yes, ma'am." That made my day.

I'm working on SGVY right now. Got one page done, need to finish the rest. I think I'll get it done tonight assuming I don't fall asleep in my chair.

Oh, and the thing I'm really happy about: HARRY LIME RETURNS TOMORROW!! Yay! I am so not getting anything done tomorrow night. I missed my Darling, and I am going to be so happy to have him back with me. Yes, yes, I'm mushy. Don't blame me; blame... I don't know what to blame. Just come up with something and blame that. Just not me. Yeah. Hm.

I guess I should get to work now. Y'all have a good night.

I tried to explain it, yet the veil stopped it.

No, I didn't get in a wreck. Mokonamobile just DIED. He doesn't move anymore. Thank God the replacement is on the way. Yay! I don't know what I'll name it yet. I guess I'll see it before I name it.

This week has been weird and very unproductive. I'm really tired right now, so I'm going to try to sleep tonight. Or morning, whatever.

"I apologize for the package; it comes with craziness. However, I'll throw in this pack of sweetness if you want."

Well, last night's RL project went well. Here's a sample:

What do you think? A little different, but that's what was needed. It's one of many that I worked on last night. What is it? is what I think you're asking. Just something needed. ^_~ Don't dwell too much on it.

I didn't do SGVY today thanks to my slacking. I ended up spending the day shopping and sleeping. Yep, sounds like fun, ne? I think I needed it.

I plan on spending the week just doing whatever the hell I want. Matrix comes out on Wednesday night, so I'm going to see that. The "nice" theater is already reserved out, so I'm going to the "average" theater. At least it's not at the "suck-ass" theater that makes my head hurt due to the bad stereo system. I'm going with Cinnabat and her fiance, Crutcher, and Barn Owl. Harry Lime, unfortunately, can't go. ;_; I'm so sad. I guess we can go later to see it at the nice theater. ^_^

Unnn... I really want to rant some more, but my brain refuses to do so anymore. I guess this is the end of das rant. Y'all have fun now!

In the distance, still there is a thread connecting.

SGVY may not be out tomorrow due to other projects (RL stuff). I'll have a rant for you tomorrow though.

Oh, sorry about any troubles you had with the page yesterday. Yuuki Server 2 went down. Ehe. We fixed it.

Don't step on the red carpet.

AAAARRRGHHH!!! I was going to post the comic this morning, but then Takepon II had to crash! I didn't have time to wait for him to reboot because I had to get to work. (I was running so late!) If I'd have known he was going to do that, I would have just put it off till I got back (which is now). So, when I got home just now, I had to go back, re-insert the text (I was on the second page when Takepon II crashed), and then upload it. Grrrr...

Because of this little setback, I started thinking about my computers I've owned. I've had about four so far. Before my first one, I used the family computer, which was never fun because my stuff always disappeared when I left it on the hard drive due to reinstalls, crashes, and one time, a fire (yes, it caught on fire. Don't ask). I soon learned to back every damn thing of mine up. I got my first computer of my own my senior year of high school, and it was named "Subaru."

Subaru was a pretty decent Compaq computer. He was a hand-me-down from my father, and he worked pretty well, until his processor fried. From the ashes of Subaru was born Takepon I. Takepon I used most of Subaru's parts and had an AMD K6 233Mhz proc with 32MB of RAM and two hard drives. That computer crashed all the time, but I loved it anyway. He saw me through my first year of college. He was bitchy like his namesake, but I never lost any of my data. Takepon I was good about that.

Takepon I met his demise when I went to my job at the coffee shop in the Summer of 2000. The house had been having some electrical problems (brown outs, black outs), so I never left my computer on while I was gone. The day he died, I turned him off and told everyone NOT to turn him on while I was gone. I came home, and Tom_Swan had Takepon I in pieces on the floor. Tom_Swan had turned him on right after I left to do something (I'm not sure. Probably some update) and didn't have Takepon I on his surge protector (I don't know why). Apparenly a surge had gone through the house and Takepon I was fried. Everything in him was gone. I ended up taking the proc out of him and turning it into a keychain. (Still got it!)

Kenpi was the next computer. Kenpi was a 466Mhz Celeron with 256 MB of RAM, two 20GB hard drives, DVD drive, ATi All-in-Wonder Pro, and Zip. I loved that computer. He had little problems and purred like a kitten. He was whisked away, however. In Summer 2001, I came home to find Kenpi missing from my dorm room. I panicked. Had the drunken bastards who threw books in the computer room finally gotten tired of my constant threats against their lives? Had some yahoo off the street picked my lock and stolen my computer? Had Tom_Swan decided it was time for an upgrade?

Fortunately, it was number three. Kenpi was still alive. Tom_Swan had broken into my room and taken him upstairs to his room. I found Kenpi in pieces. And two other computers in pieces. It turns out that Tom was helping someone build a new computer, and as part of the deal, the guy was giving Tom his old computer. Tom took it upon himself to decide that Kenpi was too outdated and gave me the guy's old computer, which was named Yggdrasil at the time.

Takepon II, which is what I renamed Yggdrasil, is a PIII 500Mhz, 512MB RAM, one 20GB HD and one 40GB HD (this one is a crappy IBM Deskstar), the All-in-Wonder Pro from Kenpi, DVD drive, Zip (unoperational), and CD-R (which was added last year). This computer... well, it's okay. It's been having problems since the guy got it from Gateway. It doesn't help either that the IBM HD is about to give out. And that Windows is so buggy now due to the last update that I have wonderful glitches. Oh, and did I mention the network card is wonky? It often forgets what it's doing. Yeah, but it's a computer. It works. For now. I think I'll make it the last PC I'll ever own. APPLE!! I'm coming!

Whee. So, the comic is up, I have have ranted, and the world has turned again. (What the hell does that mean?) I think I'll go to Wallsmart now and buy some lipgloss.

Don't forget me, oil pump.

I saw the X2 movie on Friday and Saturday. I must say, MUCH better than the first. I was no so excited by the first. It just felt like such a "movie based on a comic but trying so hard to be a movie." Yeah, this is also why I didn't like Daredevil. Oh wait, I didn't like Daredevil because it totally blowed. I mean, Daredevil was painful because it was just a bunch of blasé images that didn't go together except for the fact that you knew what had to happen, so they fit. Also, Ben Affleck as Daredevil? Whatever. Maybe I'm too hard on the movie, but I didn't like it. I went in to it thinking, "OK, Kitty. It can't be as bad as you think. Your standards for this movie are so low that it's going to rule compared to your predetermined judgment of the movie." Yeah, it turned out worse than I could imagine. WORSE.

At least it wasn't the Fantastic Four movie.

*shivers*

Oh, wait. I was talking about X2. OK. Rule. I loved Nightcrawler. He was so cute. If they made plushies, I would so buy one. Jason was creepy. Mystique was awesome. The Beast cameo was really cool. And what can I say about Ian McKellen (Magneto)? The man is just awesome. Either as Gandalf or Magneto, the man just totally rules. The movie felt more like a comic book than a movie. This is probably why I liked it so much. The in-jokes (like Dark Phoenix) were nice touches too. The only thing that I had a problem with, and this was after Harry Lime pointed it out, was Striker. He was evil, but not too evil. He just didn't seem like the big bad they wanted him to be. Ah well, I was more enthralled by the mutant powers to care (mmm... the first scene...). Oh, and Deathstrike? Cool. I liked her eyes. ^_^

Nnn... It's very late. Must work on SGVY.

Honey bunny bunny to honey honey bunnY.
