Yeehaa!! Dragon*Con is rocking! I would have posted earlier, but my access of the Internet is limited. I'm on Harry Lime's Sidekick right now, and despite being a bitch to type on, it's cool to be able to update in a food court.

The panel went well. Everyone on the panel was cool. Thank you to all that came to the panel. I was so surprised the room was at capacity! I'll speak more later when I can type better and have pictures. Yes, I have LOTS of pictures of the 'con, so stay tuned.

Oh, who ever gave me the quarters, please email me. Also, the one in the Yuuki costume, is it OK if I post the pictures of you? Please email me your pictures too.

Uh, what time is it? OH MY GODS IN THE PARKING LOT!!! I've got to be ready in four hours to leave for Dragon*Con!! I worked on SGVY all night because I've been so busy this week. Oh no!! I'm not packed! And I keep mistyping words. (Like [aked = packed.)

I guess I should do the packing thing, huh? Uuuuunnnn... I'm so damned tired. I hope I can sleep in the car. Thank God that it's Thursday and the 'con hasn't officially started. I can sleep in my room for a while, I guess.

Well, I'm here in the Town of the Everchanging Fad Stores (AKA my hometown). I'm just hanging out with Tom_Swan, and we really haven't done much yet. Played some Saturn last night and watched some TV. Whee!! I'm enjoying it! No, really, I am. It's cool to be hanging out with Tom again. Let's do something stupid!

I think Crutcher was unhappy for me leaving, especially with him just figuring out CSS. I'm sorry! I don't get to go home very often! This is like a strawberry cobbler...

Strawberry cobbler? What? Ah, nevermind. He's making ribs today, by the way. The last time he made ribs (which was the first time I'd eaten them and I think the first time he'd made them), they were so good. MMMMM... Tom_Swan also makes good ribs. I am surrounded by people who can make good ribs. I am in heaven. Rib heaven!

Harry Lime is off in his homestate. I miss him a lot, but I'll be able to see him soon. Yay!

OK, the drawing is going to be soon. I'm going to put all the names in the Bear Hat, and then draw the winner. I think we'll have pictures. It'll be great. Maybe there will be a pony. And a clown. Yeah.

I'll try to work on SGVY this weekend and get it out by Monday. Maybe Tuesday, but definitely sometime the upcoming week. I know I've been lazy, but things have been weird and hectic.

It's Friday, isn't it? Gah, my time sense is all screwed up. I think it's due to the Saturn. My Saturn can't remember the time due to the battery being old as shit. I bought a replacement, but I've yet to replace it. I guess I'm too lazy. I'd rather just play NiGHTS. Crutcher was fussing at me the other day about not working on SGVY, and I said that I was busy with my new toy. He then said, "Kitty, with your hobby being consoles and you working in a game store, you always have a new toy!" I thought about it, and yes, it's true. Damn.

Oh, there's some bad news. Barn Owl lent me a stack of Saturn games. Uh, they're calling to me now... Must... resist... Monkey...

Snap out of it, woman! Must remember that one cannot play games if they don't work. Ah, work. I have it today. And there's nothing out right now. I want a good GBA game. Alas, all of them don't come out till the Fall...

Bear Hats everywhere!!


Well! Y'all really do want the Bear Hat. O_o;; So much so, that one guy has donated half the money we needed. Thanks, dude!! You rule on so many levels. I declare you King of the Monkeys.

So what does this mean for PayPlink? you ask. Well, this means that at 2pm tomorrow (8/6), that the contest will be over, and the drawing will begin. For the two guys who managed to donate more than I ever expected to donate (I expected maybe the max donation to be $15), they will receive their own bear hats.

The reason for giving these generous individuals their own bear hats is simple and fair. You see, if they were left in the normal drawing, it would be unfair to those who could only afford one or two chances. Taking them out will give everyone else a bigger chance of winning. This is good, right? Yes, yes.

Don't worry if you don't win. I'll probably be offering hats at Dragon*Con for sale. I'm not sure which type of bear hat I should make, so I have this poll in the forums which you can vote in to decide the new hat design. ^_^

I'll work on the comic a little tonight and tomorrow. I really am sort of out of it since the move is happening. Sure, Crutcher (Thank you, Crutcher!) has been doing a lot of the work, but it's sort of, I don't know, throwing my groove off. I've got to learn how to update my page again. Hmmm...
