I'm doing better! I swear! Who knew that going to the doctor and resting for a few days would make me
better? I certainly didn't! It's a new world!
So, I got stuff for Christmas. A scanner, which I've already told you about, some books, a cute stuffed ram and koala, lots of "smell-goods," cookies, etc. The really cool thing I got though was a
Sony Ericsson t610!
This phone rocks! Not only is a camera phone (which in itself is really awesome), it can do email, play Java games, surf the 'net through WAP (big deal for me since I've never had this before), and I can come up with my own themes. Currently I have a
Totoro theme because I ordered a wood tone faceplate for it. I'm going to have a Ghibli phone much like the
Ghibli DVD player!
I've played around with the camera a bit. Here's a couple of pictures:
I have no clue what this is...
Valentine's Day stuff?! On Dec. 28?!
Well, that's it. Got to go to work. Y'all have fun today! ^_^
Totoro, totoro...

It's almost Christmas, and I'm so glad. I feeling a bit better after resting today. Thanks to my manager for letting me go! I appreciate it. ^_^
My mom is spending Christmas in the Town of Which I Live. We had a pretty good day, though we spent most of it getting me medicine. ^_^;; I don't know what we're doing tomorrow, but I'm sure we'll find something to do. Harry Lime is coming back tomorrow, and I couldn't be happier. ^_^
Merry Christmas to everyone. I hope you all are warm and happy wherever you are. Thank you for making this a wonderful year. Let's make the next even better!

Gah, I hate being me sometimes. I get sick so easily. My friends, boyfriend, mother, brother, etc. have their theories. Most of them involve me not eating right. Yeah, that could be it. Oh well...
Oh, yeah, what I have this time. I've lost my voice. After a fever on Thursday and Friday, during which I halucinated that there was a Tarutaru in the kitchen asking for a cinnacookie (I told him I was sorry, but I wasn't skilled enough in Culinary to make one), I proceeded to have a stuffed head and sore throat. Whee! Now that I've lost my voice, I've realized just how hard it is to communicate non-vocally. Damned hard. However, I'm actually enjoying it. It's kind of cool not being able to speak. Makes one creative.
Ah, this weeks update. Well, with it being the Holidays, let me announce this:
I'm hoping to have last year's up as well. Stay tuned!

As silly as this may sound, I have a tradition to make a new banner about the status of John Henson's career every year. For those who don't know who
John Henson is, he is the former and best host of E!'s
Talk Soup. Last year's entry, "Lame" was based on the fact that there was absolutely
no news regarding what the man was up to. However, this coming year of 2004, there is some interesting news:

Woo! Skunk Boy is back!
The John Henson Project will air on
Spike, which worries me, but nonetheless, I am happy.
In honor of this wonderful news, I've made the 2004 banner of John Henson.
View it in all its scary fanboyish glory!
Getting out there.

Yes, I am alive. No, polar bears, despite what you have heard, have not devoured me. Though they did gnaw on my leg a bit. Stupid bears.
Here's a little something to tide you over:

I'm feeling better now. Thank you to all that sent their well-wishes. ^_^
I'm working on the next SGVY. I should have it done probably by Tuesday or Wednesday. I'm hoping for Tuesday.
I don't know how y'all will take the next installment, but I like it. Crutcher and T stared at me when I told them about it and then Crutcher said, "OK..." I'll take that as good.
Or not. I'm not sure. I'm never sure. Sure. Sure sure.
Sure sure sure sure... Sure...
I need sleep.
'Night.
Small catch.

Well, I've slept for the past 5 hours, and I'm still feeling slow. My lungs feel really weak right now. Yup! Think I'm getting something! Thank you, fine customers, for bringing your diseased children to the mall!
Eh, whatever. I plan on relaxing and keeping well. I do not need to get sick right now. Think I'll drink hot tea and stare at my computer. Nothing like going into a catatonic state to keep yourself from feeling sick.
I've noticed, and a few of you have too, that I get sick a lot. I guess I always have. My biggest problem is that when I do get sick, I start going into my "I'm stronger than this!" routine and make it worse by working myself harder. Only now that Harry Lime has come into my life that I've realized that people don't usually walk off the flu or bronchitis; they lay in bed and go, "I'm siiiiiiiiiick..." Much healthier.
I guess my insane need to show the world that I'm strong and can survive anything comes from my parents. My dad always told me, "Walk it off, girl." My mom on the other hand is well known to walk
anything off. Two hours after getting her tonsils out, she was walking around and demanding a shower. Yeah, she's a trooper.
So, I'm going to take a break. For tonight. Yeah, tonight... Maybe after I lift that really heavy couch and throw it away. Yeah, and scrub the bathroom. Maybe knit a sweater. Hell, I'll sleep next week. I'M STRONGER THAN THIS!!
Whining quota.

I've been kind of sick this week. I hate winter for this one fact. So! I've decided to give y'all a treat while you wait for the comic! Today's special is:
The Evolution of Loki!!
That's right! I'm gonna tell you the story. Here we go!
So I'm in my 12th grade social studies class, doodling as I tended to do while I was waiting for the next piece of notes to be put on the board, when I suddenly decide that I need to work on drawing women again. I proceeded to draw some women, but then I decided to draw a breast by itself:
No problem, right? Just a breast. Well, then the idiot to my left decides to make a fuss by whispering, "Oooh! K's drawing a boob!"
I knew what his next move was: Tell the teacher. Now the teacher of this class was quite possibly one of the most awesome people I've met. I took three of his classes just because he was so awesome. I'll go into that another day, but the point is that this teacher wouldn't have cared. He probably would have just shrugged his shoulders, said something funny, and then continued with the lesson.
So why should I worry? Because I wasn't going to give him the three seconds of pleasure of telling on me in class. This was our senior year of high school for God's sake! Nobody should get pleasure on telling on someone for something "naughty" at this point. I sprung into action using my superior drawing skills and quick intellect:
I added another side, ears, and eyes...
A body...
An evil grin, maybe because it just suited the situation...
The next step perhaps was over the top, but after a quick look at my new creation, somehow it fit:
I added a knife.
Nowadays, adding the knife would have gotten me in more trouble than drawing the boob. The teacher of this class wouldn't have cared, but the principal sure as hell would have. That's really sad in my opinion. Anyway, the crisis was averted, and the idiot went back to staring blankly into space.
Quick bit: Loki wasn't called Loki in the beginning. In the beginning, he was called "Onyanko," and he was a crime fighter of some sort. He always had busty women by his side and carried a shiny knife. How far he has evolved.
Wait, he still has a knife and busty women. Hmmm...
Talk to y'all later!
Memory lane...
