These are some pictures of a light filter that I made for Crutcher, who has been installing around his dorm. I also made a "U R NOT BATMAN" one on the first floor.

Also, I quit FFXI due to time constraints. I just wasn't playing enough to make it worthwhile. Oh well. It was fun while it lasted. Here's the last picture of me:

Found my Wacom pen! It was in my desk under some papers. ^_^;;

Crisis averted!


So, I've lost my pen for my Wacom tablet. Yup. Lost it. Still got the mouse, but no pen.

What does this mean? you ask. Well it means my lovely little tablet is useless now. I'm currently borrowing Crutcher's pen, but I have to return that eventually. I think I'll go look at new tablets on Thursday. And thanks to people who have donated recently, I might be able to get one! Thank you so much to all who have donated recently! You have really helped me out! ^_^

The two tablets I'm looking at are the Graphire3 6x8 and the Intuos2 4x5. The advantage to the Intuos2 is the extra resolution in the pen and the tilt option, but the Graphire3 has a bigger drawing area. Both are the same price, but I really wish that I could get the Intuos2 6x8 and get the best of both worlds. I'm leaning towards the Intuos2 4x5 right now.

Well, off to get food. I'll eat to continue my quest!

Well, this week's SGVY is coming along nicely, but is still not done. I've been a bit busy this week, but I shall persevere!

I've been receiving a few emails of people asking if I need a writer because of the lack of comics as of late. Um, no, but thank you for your offers. You see, writing is not what keeps the comic stalled; it's the art portion. See, writing is easy to me. I don't claim to be a good writer, but I fancy myself a decent writer. I'll be a good writer when what I've written keeps me staring at the screen for an hour and repeating, "My God, I've done it..." This, as you might imagine, has not happened yet.

So back to the stalling due to art. The drawing portion of SGVY tends to be hard sometimes. I can't get motivated. I think it may be my desk. I have the worst desk known to mankind. It's an old hospital desk, complete with crazy drawings in the drawers and rust stains. Perfect if you're a nurse in a hospital, but bad if you're an artist whose hands are straining to draw on the high, flat surface.

I need a new drawing place. Like a couch or beanbag. I'm leaning towards beanbag since I already have a couch, and I hate that damned couch. It takes up room and nobody ever sits on it. (Seriously, no one does. Everyone sits on the floor.) Harry Lime and I finally got a table and chair set (perfect for eating and D&D!!) to replace it, but we've yet to get rid of the couch. We need to soon. And hang the 75% off Christmas lights. Lots to do around the White Room.
