Hey, hey, everybody! How's it going out there? It's going swimmingly in Kittyhawkland. And why, you might ask, is it going swimmingly, even though it's too cold to swim? Well...

I GOT A iBOOK G4!!

Yes, I have entered the realm of translucent white laptops with more style than I should be allowed. And power! I got the 14" version with the 933Mhz processor, 640MB RAM, and the 60GB hard drive. I went all out. Well, relatively all out. All out is the 17" Powerbook G4; I don't have quite that much money.

I've gotten a lot of flak for getting this new laptop. Some say, "Kittyhawk! You'll never play games again!" Um, I never played games on my computer anyway. I play on my consoles and handhelds, thank you. Others say, "Kittyhawk! You don't have the money!" True, but Apple does have a nice loan program. I can pay for my iBook while I use it. As always, your donations are greatly appreciated. ^_~

So, I'm spending this week learning how to use it, as well as designing websites for my job (not the game store job, the other job). I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

By the way, I've named my iBook "Kinsei." Kinsei (金星) is a very sweet type of apple that is normally yellow and takes a long time to mature. However, if bagged and cared for while developing, it becomes a white apple. It also means "the planet Venus." I think it's a nice name. ^_^

Well, off to work!

Yes, everything's a reference.

I saw this in a Wallsmart parking lot a while back:

Cannon!

Yep. A cannon. I'm guessing it belonged to some Civil War reenactors, but still...

Slow news.

So, Kittyhawk was going to be all productive yesterday and work on various websites, personal cards, comic projects, SGVY, you name it. So when I awoke around 9am, which is early for me, my head was hurting. I thought, "Huh, headache. Perhaps a slept-too-much headache. I'll get up." And I did. And it began to hurt more, especially above my left eye, which means migraine. So in a desperate attempt to head it off, I drank two cups of tea and put a hot pad on my head.

Well, needless to say, I got nothing done yesterday. I couldn't stop the migraine. I ended up staying in bed all day, except when I would get up to, uh, expell the ginger ale I was drinking to keep myself from going into sugar shock or dehydrate. Wheeee...

I did get to watch some Futurama Season Two. Man, I remembered how much I loved the one where Nixon gets a body. Classic.

Well, off to pick Harry Lime up. Let's fly!

No patterns.

If you haven't, play Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles. It is totally awesome. It's worth going broke for. ^_^

I go to work more. I'll be back soon.

Mysterious Element!!

So, I've written a whole bunch this weekend. I felt like getting a lot of SGVY on paper. Especially since I was having trouble with how this Edda is going! That's partly why I didn't put out a comic Monday. ^_^;; Hopefully you'll like the direction I chose to go after staring at the desk for a while.

I also wrote some from future Eddas which may not be out for a LONG time. It's amazing what you'll think of when you're drawing a certain character holding a birthday character. I might show the picture, but I don't think it will help you in anyway to figure out what's in store for Yuuki.

I've had lots of questions about how I write SGVY. Well, I have the basic storyline in my head, like major plotpoints, but getting there is what I don't have written. And even those major plotpoints get changed, like this weekend! Harry Lime and I were in Wallsmart when I was discussing the future of Yuuki, Taki, and Chiaki.

Ufufufufufu... It's going to be good.

Also a reason I didn't get SGVY done was a project that I'm working on with Crutcher and Harry Lime. Perhaps you'll see it in the future.

Oh, if you're interested, here's how Loki turned out. It's not that bad. I can only get better!

Time to go to work! Eat your bananas! And scrub the plants! Dinner's in the oven!

Will it be resolved?

Behold him all his glory...

Loki!
Loki!!

I worked on him all night. He's not finished, but what you think?

Eyes look perfect.

You won't believe what just happened! Harry Lime was driving to work with my car Hild, stopped at a stoplight, when suddenly this old woman behind him began to hydroplane and was coming straight for him. Thank God he had time to check the intersection to make sure it was clear and put it into neutral. The woman then hit him, causing him to coast into the intersection. Harry is thankfully uninjured because he knew what to do. Apparently Hild is OK as well, and the old woman and the Lincoln are fine too. Poor Harry!!

What is this?! Are people out to get us?! I swear I'm just going to stay out of a car for the next two days. Too many crazies are out there!

Thank you so much for your sympathy. I really appreciate it. ^_^ This has just been really weird.

Oh, and yesterday marks the seventh wreck I've been in. It runs in my family, I guess. They've all been in many wrecks as well. O_o;;

Kowai!!
