Well, it's almost here. Three days away. That's right...
Dragon*Con 2004.
And that means that all of you that ordered
t-shirts to be hand-delivered at Dragon*Con can now get yours! So here's the instructions: Around 7:00pm Saturday, after I leave the EFF's 5:30pm webcomics panel, I will go into the lobby area down the hall from the Piedmont room in the Hyatt and start handing out the shirts. Please bring a copy of the Paypal receipt or some form of ID so I can verify it's you. I'll be happy to talk while I'm there too. ^_^
If you need a map,
here you go.
I will not be selling shirts at the con. You must prepay by tomorrow (Wednesday) night at 8:00pm EDT to be able to get a signed shirt at Dragon*Con! I'll still be taking orders for mail order shirts, though, so don't feel left out!
Oh, and by the way, the EFF's webcomics panel, which is Saturday at 5:30pm in the Piedmont room of the Hyatt, is going to be awesome. The panel includes Rob Balder of
Partially Clips, Coyto, Mullet Mike, and Lunchbox of
All Grown Up, Pete Abrams of
Sluggy Freelance, Jennie Breeden of
The Devil's Panties, and me. Most excellent group, don't you say? You will attend! I command!
I'll also be on some of the Anime track's panels, so check them out too!
See y'all at Dragon!
Headin' to the capitol.

Just a week now till Dragon*Con! Are you going to be there? Did you order your
t-shirt to be
hand delivered by yours truly? If you're attending, you should take this chance to get a signed shirt!
I still need to work on costumes. Sigh...
Never done.

Hey hey! Glad to hear that everyone likes the new design. Crutcher is so giddy from the response.
Got something I've been working on for a while that might go live tonight. Depends on my workload. Stay tuned!
Fly.
12:31:00 AM
New comic will be up shortly. Just waiting on the Crutcher.
What you think me the new design, by the way? I designed it, Crutcher programmed the XSLT. Thank you, Crutcher!
Going to watch
Conan the Barbarian. Whee!
"...The lamentation of the women."

Oh my. I haven't posted in a while. Well, I'm still here. Sort of. I feel kind of weird, but I think that might be due to not working on the comic for a while. Too much life makes Kittyhawk's head go boom. I need music.
People are giving me wedding magazines! It's so weird. I love looking at fashion mags for some reason. Not sure why. I think it's because it's another form of design, and that's why I like it.
Gah. I'm really writing weird. I think it's because I'm tired. Today, my head started hurting like it has the past three days, and I then passed out in front of my laptop. I'm not sure what it is, but I blame lack of sleep.
I've found I'm more productive when I don't sleep. If I'm on a schedule when I get three to four hours a night, I produce a lot of work. However, I get very ill and lose a week to recovery. Hmm... Perhaps there is a balance.
Nah.
Anyway, a thought has been going through my head. I started playing
Yoshi's Cookie for Game Boy after I found a copy at work, which I had never played. Strange since it's my kind of mindless game. Anyway,
Yoshi's Cookie got me thinking about why I love puzzle games. The answer is that I love patterns. Whenever I walk on a sidewalk, I have to make diagonals to make sure all the sections of concrete are square (hardly ever square, by the way). I make crosses and flowers out of tile. I also try to see if there's a reason to the way the dots in stucco are arranged. Crazy, yes, but it has made me a better graphic designer. Plus, it's just fun.
I got my
foofpod for my
iPod! It's the rust connemara type with white interior. Very nice. Much better than the holster I had, and it's one of the last from Ireland! The foofpod protects the iPod better (not shockwise, but scratch and knickwise) and looks much cooler. I recommend them.
I hope the people who got shirt on the first batch have received them! If you have and you would like to send me a picture of you in your shirt, I will post it. I want to see people wearing the merchandise!
Off to bed now. You eat your cookies.
Long post, good tomato.
