Since I've been at work a lot lately, I've gotten to see lots of neat stuff, like the Nintendo DS. This is one of the DS from the demo unit:
It's pretty cool, but I wish there was more PDA functionality with it. It's sexy nonetheless.
And here's a cartridge:
It's a little thicker than a compact flash cart but just as small. I'm happy with Nintendo's decision to stay very far away from optical media. The exposed pins make me worry though. Kids destroy games like nobody's business. O_o;;
Finally, shifting the gears away from video games, I saw this in Suncoast the other day:
This is just ridiculous. A calendar for how-to-draw books?! Gah! Namebranding ahoy! What's next? The "Durex Condom How-to-Put-a-Condom-on Illustration 2005 Calendar"? Good lord...
Yes, the world is nuts. I think I'll sleep on it.
Go to the happy place.

So the week of a thousand games has come. Whee! I am buried! Plus Thanksgiving is next week, and I'm in a quandry. I could: Go home, go with Harry, or just stay home. I must decide. My life's on the line.
I've started the next installment of SGVY, so don't worry. I'm beginning to wonder if I have too much to do. I think I'll get rid of sleep and then I'll have less to do. Brilliant! Then I can spend more time on being a comic artist, graphic designer for web company, game store clerk, AND scribe for a school honor's program!
In other news, I touched a Nintendo DS. It is quite sexy.
Work time!
What's up with that dream?

Well, it's November 8. That means one thing:
Halo 2 goes on sale at midnight. I will have to be there, acting all chipper and willing, ready to give people the game that they've been
yelling at me about not coming out for the last year and a half. Here's an example of some of the "conversations" I've had with people about
Halo 2:
::Sometime in spring this year::
Me: Hi! Can I help you?
Customer: When's that
Halo game coming out?
Me: Halo 2? November 9th. Have you...
Customer: WHAT?!! You said it was coming out next week!
Me: Uh, what?
Customer: Last summer you said spring!
Me: Yeeeeeeaah... I quoted you the time we believed it was coming out, but it's changed now. This is the official date.
Customer: Nuh-uh! I read on the Internet that it's coming out next week!
Me: But you just said...
Customer: If you ain't got it, I bet Wallsmart has it.
Me: Yes, Wallsmart has it. Sure. You go check it out.
Customer: I'M NEVER SHOPPING HERE AGAIN 'CAUSE YOU DON'T GOT THE GAME THAT AIN'T HERE YET!!
::End::
Yes, my bitterness grew with everyday this damned game was not out. I'm so happy it's finally out, but now I must go sell it late tonight. Wish me luck.
In other news, life is going pretty well right now. I feel a lot better and relaxed. I feel like working now. Let's do it!
Olala! Master Chef!

After one month of absence...
I'm back!
That's right, monkeys, I'm back into the swing of the comicking and ready to make a punch in the face of sickness. Let's chronicle my month, shall we?
October 1-31: Either sick or very busy.
Yup. That was my month. Thank you for being patient!
So, the new edda begins and we have a new valkyrie on the scene. I showed you the picture a few weeks ago, and I'm very interested the theories on the forums. It makes me wonder about where I could take the story! But, the path is set, so you shall see what happens...
I'm very happy with the title pic for the new Edda. I actually drew this at Dragon*Con during a panel! I colored it in the halls while waiting for people to pick up their shirts. Yes, it is really nice.
Well, off to work on other things. Have fun reading the comic!
Where is it?
