Another Christmas has past, and it was a good one. I spent the day eating way too much (bad!) and sleeping (good!). I feel much better now. ^_^

I got lots of presents. Lots and lots of Hello Kitty stuff. An apron, calendar, etc. The coolest Hello Kitty item I got is this Hello Kitty pillow made from kimono fabric with her name in hiragana on her foot. It's really cute. I plan on putting her on my bed.

I also got this:

THOR!

THOR AGAIN!
Ultimate Thor!!

Yes, it's Ultimate Thor from Ultimates. This series kicks ass, by the way. I'm not a fan of the American superhero genre most of the time, but this is an exception. Anyway, I got this awesome figure from Harry Lime. He definitely loves and knows me. ^_^ I plan on keeping Thor next to me whenever I work on SGVY from now on as inspiration/intimidation.

Hope you all had a good holiday. Thank you to all who wished me a good holiday as well. The new year's about up, so let's get ready! I have a feeling this new year is going to be a great one.

I'm getting married the beginning of next year, so I know next year will be good. ^_^

Good night!

Merry Christmas!

Hello Kitty Christmas!

Ah, Christmas Eve. It's here. I relax in front of Kinsei-chan and put the finishing touches on the comic. Yes... If only I had something alcoholic to drink with a fire in the corner.

I could have this, but I think setting a fire in the corner next to the paint cans while drinking is a bad idea. I guess I settle for a warm heater and some gingerbread cookies. Mmmmm... Cookies.

In the past I loved Christmas. Buying presents, baking, decorating, and just lazying about playing video games with my brother Tom_Swan was where it was at. Nowadays, Christmas seems a bit like hell. Customers yelling, people leaving to see their families, and getting sick. Whee!!

This year, however, is different from the past few. While tired from work and other things, I feel relaxed and ready to celebrate. I'll eat cookies, play some games, and spend time with Harry Lime (this is actually the first Christmas we've been together!). While my fellow workers in retail are stressed, I let it slide and rode the wave of customers.

Speaking of customers, they've been extra nice this year. I think it's because they're poor. Bad economy makes people humble. They're not so ready to spend because of their tight purses, so they're patient and willing to deal with you in a civilized fashion because they really want just those few items on their list and aren't willing to overcompensate for a bad item with more items.

Don't get me wrong; I hate a bad economy. I like money as much as the next, but you must look on the bright side. ^_^

I'm strangely not sick this Christmas. I think it's because I was a few weeks ago. I got the flu early, so now I'm watching all these poor souls who have it now. This is so awesome. I think I'll sleep in tomorrow just in case.

I think I'm getting random due to lack of sleep, so I'll wrap this up.

The holiday comic was finished in a car (don't ask), so if pages 8-12 look different coloring-wise, just realize that's what it is. I'm pretty proud of it, actually. Hope you enjoy. There will be an extra present on Christmas Day, so check it out. ^_^

Well, I have a long day tomorrow. Y'all have fun this holiday season.

Happy Birthmas!

Tom_Swan, it's a lifeline. No meat on the wood.
