The new comic is out, and I rejoice. This actually was the first comic I've done the pencils for since April. Yes, the last one was pencilled in April. A few people noticed that my style had changed, but only a little of it came through due to the inks. Though, the full force of my training, I think, doesn't show through until today's comic.
Training, you ask? Yes, training. I've been training to become a better artist. This includes:
• Figure drawing
• Backgrounds
• Facial expressions
• Uh, backgrounds...?
Yes, I trained vigorously. By that I mean sketched occasionally between sleeping and working. I am pleased so far.
If you can't tell a difference, well, maybe I have a longer way to go after all. ^_^;;
Now for the final results on my nails:
I need to cut them. Thank you for saving my hands. It was a stupid poll, but dammit, I was bored.
Now to sleep. 'Night.
Rayewin is hot.

Remember how I said it was hard to type with long nails? Well, my nails are getting longer.

The problem with my nails is they are really
strong. I can't bend them at all, and I have to practically saw them to cut them. I like having long nails because I can cut through things without using a knife. However, they do this when I write or draw:

Should I cut them? It's up to you!
Vote now!Back to working on the comic now!
Stupid fun.

Well, I wasn't able to work on SGVY today because I was designing a shirt for a friend's Wonderland themed birthday party. (Most excellent.) You can
take a look if you want.
I'm working as hard as a Kitty can. Please believe me!
What is that glass?

Got the pencils done. Working on inks now.
While I'm here, typing with inch long nails is
really hard. Maybe I should cut them.
Nah.
Go to the place where you escape to.

Have you been to the official Katamari website? No, not
the American Flash-tacular website (which loads like ass, by the way). I'm talking about the jewel of the Internet, "Minna Daisuki Katamari On the Web."

This has to be one of the best designed websites out there. I feel like I'm interacting with a children's book come to life. God, I love the Katamari staff!
While the site is all in Japanese, you can wander around even if you don't know the language. The sun is Information, the house is News (where you can see the various covers to
Minna Daisuki Katamari), the cake is Presents (where all the great wallpapers and papercraft are), the tree is the old site (there's an English site in there), and the swing is the ongoing saga of the "Ouji-sama Face" popping up places. The children scattered among the site are explanations of the game featuring the mascot yelling and doing stupid things (I like the one where he blows up).
Also, click the tiny people on the page for awesome animations of the cousins. My favorite is a tie between Lalala (because I love Lalala) and Fujio (I can watch it for hours).
Later y'all!
Na naaa na na na na na na naa na na na na...

Alright, since I'm back and have some free time, I might talk about the gaming I've done recently. Video games are an important part of my life and allow me to chill and think a bit. I've been playing them since I was two. I think I'm addicted at this point. ^_^;;
First,
Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3 has been sitting in my DS for a while now. I still haven't beaten it even though I've had it for months now, but it's just in there whenever I'm bored and have a minute. This game is perfect for this. It's also hard as hell. Not because Baby Mario is hard to keep a hold of, but rather the expansive levels and puzzles will cause you to beat your head in as you die over and over. Thank God lives are easy to get.
I also got a
Candy Pink Nintendo DS. It is super sweet! I didn't expect the color to be so
pink, but it's a much better color than the
Pearl Pink GBA SP. I keep getting people at my work asking where I got it, but when I tell them it was an import, they look really disappointed. I got a lot of that when I first took my pink SP to work too.
Atelier Iris: Eternal Mana has been my RPG of choice lately. I've gotten through most of it, but I have let it slip away. I highly recommend this RPG, seeing as though it's the best RPG I've played in a long while. No FMV, no stupid battle systems, just a good clean old-school RPG like in the days of the SNES and Saturn. The only weird thing about the game is the synthesis system, but it's actually fun to play around with.
BUY IT NOW!!I've also been playing
Nintendogs: Lab & Friends, which is the reason I got my DS. I have a little shiba inu named Udon. Here she is:

Pick this game up now! The dogs act realistic, and "leveling" your dog is addictive.
Shigeru Miyamoto himself worked on this game, so that has to be why it's so good. It's also fun to let your dog play with other Nintendogs. I only wish I could have a real dog. ;_; This will do in the mean time though.
Um, let's see,
Mario Superstar Baseball just recently came out, and Harry Lime and I picked it up after I played it everyday at work. I don't normally like baseball, but this is actually fun. Pitching is easy to control, and the controls are intuitive. I only wish stealing bases was easier to control. Pressing "Y" and "X" in order to control the runner doesn't really cut it, but that's my only gripe. I wish the "C" stick had been used for that. The games only run for five innings, which is nice sometimes when you just want to play a short game with someone. Nine innings would take way too long and would then have
Mario Golf syndrome. (Don't get me wrong. I love
Mario Golf. It just takes forever to get through a nine hole game. God help you if you go for eighteen holes with four players!) I tend to rely on pitching during the game, so I pick Waluigi everytime. His curve balls are devistating. ^_~
Other games I've played recently are
Panorama Cotton (well, I keep going back to it),
Devil's Crash MD (I just discovered the Mega Drive version! I've only played the PC Engine version till now, and while the PC Engine's main theme sounds more metal, the Mega Drive version looks and feels better),
Panzer Dragoon (I finally got around to beating it), and
Legend of Valkyrie (I have to pick up
Namco Museum Vol. 5 for PSX now). Whew!
Oh, I'm waiting for
We Love Katamari, but that goes without saying.
Well, I'm off to work! See y'all!
Lots.

I'm back, y'all. And so's the comic. Yeehaw! Let's go!
So what have I been up to?
A lot, but let's not go into all of it. It's boring.
I moved into a new house, so I have a new work area, which I like infinitely more.

As you can see, the carpet is nice, and I finally found a use for my kotatsu. My family has had this kotatsu since I was a little girl, and it's perfect for working on the floor, which I enjoy doing. Yes, it's messy, but I figured I can work or clean. I'm in a working mood right now. (Good for y'all, right? ^_~ )
A hurricane came our way too. Katrina the Bitch didn't do much damage around here. I was stupid and went out during the storm:

I'm currently working on a new design for the site and a new gallery page. I hope you will all like it.
If you didn't see
this picture on the forums, this was the teaser/comeback image I put there. I decided to put it there first for the forumites' sakes.
I'm off to take a break now. Y'all have fun!
It's different here.

Comic is back! It'd be up now, but there is a little server problem. I will tell you about what's been happening when I post comic.
