As I promised here's the comic aaaaand an extra!

Take a look at today's comic, and you'll understand what this installment of "The Stupid, Stupid Adventures of Kittyhawk" is about. I kept fixing that damned wall over and over, but thanks to my weak left eye which flickers between "working" and "not so working," it was hard. I finally closed my left eye and did it. It turned out OK. Well, passing. I decided to cover it up anyway.
I get a lot of people telling me to not color SGVY in order to speed up the process. Some suggest that I should use screentones like
Girly or grayscale like
the first SGVY comics. I think I've written about this before, but I shall write about it again. In order of least to greatest time consumption, here are the steps of the comic:
5. Script
4. Text
3. Coloring
2. Pencils
1. Inking
Coloring is easy! Just point and fill with color. Simple! Grayscale is actually takes longer than full color because it takes many tries to get the right shade of gray. I don't have time for that. Screentones are awesome looking, but frankly, I don't have the patience. Really, I like color. Two years of working with grayscale was boring.
Inking is hard. I draw a line. If it's wrong, I draw it again. Sometimes it takes three tries to get something right. Why is this so? Well, when you're doing pencils, you can imply a line easily by sketching it. You can't do that with the clean lines of inking. It has to be concrete. That is why inking sucks. I also do the backgrounds during the inking process, and I
suck at backgrounds. I hate drawing them. That's why with some issues there's a lot of blank backgrounds. It makes the process seem a little faster. It really isn't.
Back to inking. I really respect someone who can make a nice clean inkline. People who only sketch are cheaters. A comic that is only pencils is not a finished product. I'm not saying it can't look cool; I'm just saying you can judge a person's skill if they can ink properly. An only penciled comic is only a gimmick and should not be used all the time. But hey, what do I know?
On today's comic, I really don't know how long it takes to repair a wall or how much it costs. I just picked two days because it sounded right, and I picked ¥100,000,000 (US$855,600) because it's a ridiculous amount. If I'm wrong,
please tell me. I'll change the comic. Other than that, I'm very pleased with today's comic. My backgrounds are improving.
On to the next issue!
I like that movie.

Harry Lime got me a new toy:

It's an auroch! With
the Prince riding him! Yay! Technically he's a longhorn bull, but he looks like an auroch to me, so he is. I named him Myu Myu-chan, of course. He's from the
new section in Target that carries toys like you'd find in a specialty toy store. It's really awesome. They even have Japanese pop guns.
I finished all the inking for Issue 6 of Edda 7. I'll do the coloring and text tomorrow when I wake up. I'll hopefully have it up by late afternoon. If I'm productive, I'll have a bonus as well. Let's hope!
Time to sleep. I say this a lot, but I often post before I sleep. ^_^;;

It's the Year of the Dog! I couldn't think of anything suggestive, except for a weiner dog, which I didn't want to do, so I decided to draw one of the wolves. Actually, he doesn't look just like the wolves. His ears are kind of floppy. He looks fierce though, and that's all I wanted.
After having a fever for a few days, I'm feeling better. I'm sleeping again, so that's good too. I thought something was terribly wrong with me. Thank God I'm feeling better.
I've got two pages inked. I'll work on some more tonight. I'm hoping to have it done by Tuesday night, but we'll see. I'm still taking it easy so I don't kill myself.
Well, off to make dinner. See y'all later!
Cabbage is delicious.

Forum is back, but we lost two days of posting. At least it's back.
It's not good to have a cold nose.

The forums are down because pOnju's site's server is down for the time being. Keep checking
here for updates.
Also, I'm glad I'm posting now because of this message on Blogger:
"

Scheduled outage at 4:00PM PST.
Learn more."
Everything's down today! Except for SGVY and Montrose.
Dammit, I just jinxed myself.
Three pages.

Despite having a migraine all day, I am WORKING!! The migraine actually subsided as soon as a
sexy thought entered my brain.
Yes, a
sexy thought involving SGVY. Ohohoho... I am thinking of future storylines. What is this
sexy idea? I'm not telling. ^_~
My lungs are now hurting. Ugh. I think I'll go work on some pencils. Then have a
sexy thought! Ohohohoho!
Strange upswing.

Howdy, y'all! This is Kittyhawk with the first comic of the New Year! Let's go!
I really dislike drawing Taki. Goddamn, is he hard to draw. Let's start with his hair. I had problems with Trent from
the Jar because of the short hairstyle, and I have the same problems except for one new thing:
Taki's hair is shorter.
Grawaaaaa!! So frustrating. And don't get me started on his glasses. Oh, I'll go ahead anyway. I have to draw the glass in each time. It's its own separate layer during the coloring process. I could have made my life easier by filling in the ovals of his glasses, but nooooooo... I had to make them all thin-looking and semi-ovals. Grrrr...
Plus, he's a guy. I used to be good a drawing guys, but then one day, they didn't interest me...
I mean drawing-wise. No worries, Harry Lime! ^_^;;
Women are so much more fun to draw. Curvy, deliciously rounded. Mmmmm... Yuuki's thighs are to die for.
I've been reading
Emma by Kaoru Mori. I'm totally digging her style. The way she draws Dorothea is totally sexy. ^_^
Well, I'm tired. I'm going to bed. Thank you to all who encouraged me. It really helped. ^_^
The thoughts are easy.

Thank you to all who have written to tell me to work harder. It really makes me want to get this bitch done! I shall work hard for my corporation. ^_^
In other news, I haven't been able to go to another town in ACWW in a week or so! I guess I have a weird schedule.
Email me to tell me when you're on so I'll have an idea.
I'm thinking of doing another shirt. Go
here and tell me what you want on a shirt. I'm thinking Loki, but I really want to know what y'all want.
Back to work!
Bell-shaped.

Gwaaargh...
Sorry, y'all. I've been distracted. I sincerely apologize. I will beat myself for my insolence.
OK! Let's get to work!
Email me, and tell me how hard I should work!

I just tried to push Command-Z on the real-life paper I was penciling.
I am totally one with the Wacom.
Pencils are nearly done. Please support me in my endeavor.
Very business-like!

At the request of the forums, I will report on the status of the comic:
The comic script and layouts have been done. I must now work on the pencils. I shall be using very expensive paper for the process. Not because it will make it better or anything, but it's all I have. (I need to go to the store. ^_^;; ) I shall keep you updated.
ACWW! It keeps going! Get the game now!

As you can see, I'm playing Animal Crossing: Wild World. It's most excellent. If you want it, get it, and come hang out in Montrose! Just
email me your code, name, and town, and we'll be on the way.
Not much today?
