Sigh... The news is depressing me today. Normally I get mad and scream at the TV when I hear something stupid, but today, I'm not. It's too stupid. Oh well, I'll still watch. Maybe
Fox will have another piece on how to break up with your girlfriend using text messaging or
PowerPoint. That will distract me for the time being.
I'm happy with my new desk. It's working out very well. I find myself working a lot more now. I don't have to lug my scanner around anymore, which is nice. It's also nice because there's space for someone else to work on a laptop on the other side.
Cacao likes it because she can hide under it. I might
kotatsu-fy it. You know, put a quilt under it so I can keep my feet warm in the winter. I might need to do it soon. It's getting chilly outside. Well, chilly for the South. Of course, I might just be jumping the gun because I want it to be cold. ^_^;;
I can't wait for it to start getting cold outside. Not too cold, mind you; I can't work when it's too cold. I can't move when it's too cold. I just want it to be brisk outside so I can have hot drinks and sit on my porch and work. Ah! How idyllic.
Just 51 days to the
Nintendo Wii launch! Already have my
Twilight Princess and
Super Mario Galaxy reserved. I don't think
Galaxy is a launch title, though. Oh well, I've got it reserved anyway... ^_^;;
I'm the platform.

Muwahahahaha!! The comic is done, and it is full of Sexy Fun™. Don't you agree? Oh, go read it first, of course. ^_^;;
I've been busy lately. I'm not even sure of all I've done lately. ^_^;; I'm mostly working on the house, fixing the kitchen. I made a large poster for the kitchen which looks old:

It's a Cacao poster! I worked on it for a long time. I did the false aging by printing it on sticker paper with a laser printer. Toner apparently does not like sticker paper meant for an inkjet, so when you adhere it to the backing paper and then pull it up, the toner comes off in a poof. Voila! Instant aging and tearing! And yes, I'm aware the Portuguese is bad. I'd already printed it when it was pointed out to me. Never trust an online translator, huh? ^_^;;
Well, time for bed. See y'all. Don't eat anything glowing.
Maybe the brain is to tired to think?

OK, OK, I know. It's Monday. I've got half the comic done. Most of the effort went into the pencils. Yep, I know I say inking is the hardest part, but I spent a goddamn lot of time on the pencils this time. You'll enjoy it because...

I'm going to sleep now, and I'll finish this in the morning. Dream well, y'all.
She runs fast and never will stop for your pitiful cries.

Ah! I'm finished with the comic. And before 4AM! Hooray!
I would have been finished earlier, but I acquired this today:

What y'all think? It's a floor desk! Now I have plenty of room to spread out when I work on the floor. I spent all afternoon putting it together, and man, is it worth it. I can actually keep my scanner out now! Yay!
Well, I'm off to bed. Hope you like the comic!
It's got a big hairdo.

Hey, hey, y'all! I'm back home now! And I've lost my voice. Yep, I caught the "Con Crud." ^_^;; I can utter squeaky sounds and whispered words. Cacao, my Sausage Terrier, looks at me weird, and I don't blame her. Here her master has left for nearly a week and returns with no voice. Poor Cacao....
Wait! Why am I saying that? She's loving it. She doesn't have to listen to me now. Fun time for Cacao, I guess. ^_^;;
I had lots of fun at
Dragon*Con. I was on nine panels and was an MC for the Anime Cosplay Contest. Whee! It was fun to be able to meet some of you and meet new people as well. Hi, new people! I sold a lot of shirts, which would lead you to think I have money now, but I promptly blew the money on the Dealers' Room. ^_^;; I do have a
Black Mokona,
Totoro, and
Kirby now. Oh, I was able to see
Jennie again, which was awesome (she gave me comics!), and I met a bunch of new artists, including some who work for DC and Marvel. I was even on a cheesecake panel with
Linsner and
Adam Hughes. I also have to give a shout out to
Phil Foglio. Sir, I will work hard on my comic like you requested. ^_^;; There are so many others I met, and I want to say thank you to all of you. I also want to thank the directors of the
EFF,
Anime, and
Comics tracks for their hard work. Thank you as well to
TechOps for helping me various times with the mic. Thank you as well to Poppy for watching Cacao while I was gone. And finally, thank you to my wonderful husband and friends for helping me haul all my stuff around the three hotels. ^_^
I guess it's back to work now. I'm actually very energized. I have decided that I will be updating every two weeks from now on. So twice a month, there will be a new SGVY. This will allow me to have time to work on SGVY and my "real life" work. I will work hard for my corporation!
Next year will be even more fun!
